Concert Band
The West Ranch High School Concert Band is a year-long musical ensemble for wind and percussion instrumentalists. Meant for intermediate musicians, this band consists of mostly freshman and sophomores. Throughout the year the Concert Band performs at festivals of various types and also gives numerous concerts in West Ranch’s brand new performing arts center. Emphasis in this course is placed on technique, tone development, and exposing students to a wide range of wind band literature.
